There, students will get a comprehensive lesson in the Learning Burrow—an outdoor amphitheater designed to complement most high school curriculums. The local education officers give live lessons with four of the endemic Australian animals, and walk students through their habitat, behaviors and nutritional needs. Take a tour of the world-famous Opera House where you’ll go behind-the-scenes and see what it takes to get a live production on stage.

Australia has some of the best surfing spots in the world, especially around Sydney. Learn how to catch a wave next to locals on the city’s famous Bondi Beach. Here an instructor will teach you how to paddle and stand on your board, and you’ll have time after your lesson to practice on your own. Wet suit, picnic lunch, and professional photo included. For those looking to stay on land, tour Bondi Beach and the iconic Life Saving Club with a local guide.
