Travel to Monteverde
Explore on your own orAdd this in-depth excursionLocal Farm Visit
Visit a local farm and learn all about the plants, fruits, and vegetables that grow there. As you learn about why they thrive in this particular climate, you’ll also be able to try some of the produce—including foods you may never have heard of! Before you leave, try your hand at a staple farm activity like milking a cow or grinding sugarcane.

Participate in a canopy adventure

Visit the Santa Elena Cloud Forest
Plant a tree in the EF reserve

Travel to the Central Pacific Coast
Visit the Rainforest Adventure Park, where you will:
- Ride an aerial tram above the canopies
- Explore a nature trail
- Visit a butterfly sanctuary
Enjoy a crocodile jungle safari boat cruise

Visit Manuel Antonio National Park -
Day 8: Central Pacific Coast • Sarchi • San José
Travel via Sarchí to San José

Opt to spend the evening learning about the rich cultural traditions of the region over a traditional Costa Rican dinner. After dinner, marimba music and entertainment by a local dance troupe will make this a night to remember.
