Take a day trip to the Cradle of Humankind, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Visit the Maropeng Visitor Centre, and learn about human development over millions of years
- Observe ancient fossils during a guided tour of the Sterkfontein Caves

Jump into an off-road safari vehicle and take a full-day game drive through Kruger National Park

Head to Langa, formerly a racially divided suburb of Cape Town. En route, you’ll gain local insight into the sociopolitical realities of pre- and post-apartheid. With your expert guide, you’ll visit the local community center where residents can learn career and life skills, and there will be an opportunity to purchase some locally produced arts and crafts. On your guided walking tour, you’ll connect with locals before visiting a preschool and a shebeen (community center).
