ABOUT EF

For over 55 years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to one global mission: Opening the World Through Education. Our programs help students expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, grow more confident and independent, and understand new people, places, and cultures.

14 days
Bucharest, Sibiu, Budapest, Prague, Berlin

Our greatest conflicts of the past teach us a great deal about how the many corners of the world can coexist peacefully in the future.

Learn about the transition of power from communist to capitalist societies, comparing the civil unrest of the Romanian Revolution with the non-violent resistance in Prague and Budapest. Meet with locals and get an up-close look at the lasting impact of communication in conflict resolution. Then, take all you’ve learned to Berlin to further explore Future Readiness in a Changing World at our inspiring leadership conference.

EF Summits are open to rising 9th graders through graduated seniors.
