Madrid Flamenco lesson and show
Born of Indian, Moorish, Arabian and Andalusian Roma influences, flamenco blends dancing, clapping, singing and guitar playing for a passionate expression of the soul of Spain. In today’s lesson, learn its history before trying the dance for yourself. Afterwards, kick back and enjoy the tradition from a different perspective as you take in an expert performance.

Enjoy a night of jazz music, which begin in Paris during the first World War and bloomed as Black soldiers from the United States fled segregation and settled in Paris. Notable figures in this movement include the 369th infantry regiment jazz band, whose album was the first jazz record to be released in Europe, and Sidney Bechet, Kenny Clarke, and Dexter Gordon, among many others.
